BABY 2000 IS TWENTY-ONE YEARS OLD THIS YEAR (2021)

I was reminded of a group-prayer that was sent out nearly 22  years ago.

Here is a copy of the post from a website that no longer exists.  

 It was also titled HEAL AFRICA (It has no connection with the current website that uses that name today)

 

The prayer is that all children born after 2000 receive the kind of education that will empower them to develop their own unique skills and become leaders in their specialized fields, and that the education system honors each child’s uniqueness.

 

Here is a suggested prayer outline:

1.

See in your mind's-eye fellow group members who spend a few minutes each day to pray that all children receive the kind of education that will develop their best abilities because the future of the world lies in their hands

2.

Become aware of the love within your heart, and imagine a group of people of goodwill from all over the world joining you in this prayer.

 

Feel yourself to be one of them. Their identities do not matter.

        3

Now visualize how each child who enters school in the new millennium receives an education that will encourage the development of his/her own special skills so that she/he can grow into a loving worthy adult and become a leader in his/her own special unique field.

 

Ask that it is done because Jesus said – “ask and it shall be given.”

 

Amen.

Our children are the leaders of tomorrow.

 It is in their hands that the future of the world will rest.

Please give a few minutes each day to pray for an education system that will empower children to meet the demands of the new millennium.

Widening the gap between rich and poor

Giving Management a 14% wage increase is widening the gap between rich and poor.  A municipality who has money to spend above and beyond the cost of municipal responsibility could put the excess funds to better use to improve the lives of pensioners, the sick, crime fighting, nature conservation, animal welfare, the lowest paid workers, the unemployed, education, or the homeless in the community.   The idea is to aim to provide a better life for all, instead of lining the pockets of decision makers.

Proposed solutions to vandalism.

In some communities up to 30% of children may have been affected by pre-natal alcohol syndrome.   This may account for the violent and senseless destruction of public property during strike action.    They simply do not understand that by burning down a school or a bus inconveniences their own family and friends.

They harm the community more than the ones they are blaming.

Special education is needed for children and adults with learning challenges.

HEAL THE FUTURE OF AFRICA

A new website "HEAL THE FUTURE OF AFRICA" aims to look at advice given before the end of the world war (1945) and compare it to what is happening in Africa today.

So many mistakes were made since the last war.   So many people who could impact positively on their communities failed to do so because they could not see past their own desires and ambitious.

Selfishness and greed within nations lead to a world that is crumbing around us and threatens global destabilization on all levels and in all kingdoms of nature.

We have not eradicated poverty and suffering.

This website intends to use the study course Problems of Humanity, written by Alice A. Bailey just before the end of the last world war, for its major inspiration. Much of the work, if applicable may nearly directly come from that book. 

 

ADVICE GIVEN TO WORLD GOVERNMENTS AFTER THE WORLD WAR which ended in 1945

Extracts from instructions given to humanity by a Tibetan master after the last world war: (1939-1945)

I omitted out dated references to specific countries.

Certain major and spiritual premises should lie back of all efforts to formulate the new world order.

Let me state some of them:

1.

The new world order must meet the immediate need and not be an attempt to satisfy some distant, idealistic vision.
2.

The new world order will be founded on the recognition that all men are equal in origin and goal but that all are at differing stages of evolutionary development;

that personal integrity, intelligence, vision and experience, plus a marked goodwill, should indicate leadership.

The domination of the proletariat over the aristocracy and bourgeoisie, 

or the domination of an entrenched aristocracy over the proletariat and middle classes, must disappear.

The control of labor by capital or the control of capital by labor must also go.
3.

In the new world order, the governing body in any nation should be composed of those who work for the greatest good of the greatest number and who at the same time offer opportunity to all,

seeing to it that the individual is left free.

Today the men of vision are achieving recognition, thus making possible a right choice of leaders.

It was not possible until this century.
4.

The new world order will be founded on an active sense of responsibility.

The rule will be "all for one and one for all."

This attitude among nations will have to be developed.

5.

The new world order will not impose a uniform type of government,

a synthetic religion and a system of standardization upon the nations.

The sovereign rights of each nation will be recognized and its peculiar genius,

individual trends and racial qualities will be permitted full expression.

In one particular only should there be an attempt to produce unity,

and that will be in the field of education.

6.

The new world order will recognize that the produce of the world,

the natural resources of the planet and its riches,

belong to no one nation but should be shared by all.

There will be no nations under the category "haves" and others under the opposite category.

A fair and properly organized distribution of the wheat, the oil and the mineral wealth of the world will be developed, based upon the needs of each nation,

upon its own internal resources and the requirements of its people.

All this will be worked out in relation to the whole.
7.

In the preparatory period for the new world order there will be a steady and regulated disarmament.

It will not be optional.

No nation will be permitted to produce and organize any equipment for destructive purposes or to infringe the security of any other nation.

One of the first tasks of any future peace conference will be to regulate this matter and gradually see to the disarming of the nations.

These are the simple and general premises upon which the new world order must begin its work.

These preliminary stages must be kept fluid and experimental;

the vision of possibility must never be lost, and

the foundations must be preserved inviolate, but

the intermediate processes and the experimentations must be carried forward by men who,

having the best interests of the whole at heart,

can change the detail of organization

whilst preserving the life of the organism.

A Crisis situation can be an opportunity for re-evaluation

Drought in Cape Town

Any crisis situation can be regarded as a lesson to be learned. It is simple! We need to learn how to overcome (or survive) the crisis and how to prevent it from happening again in the future. A crisis can be a situation of do or die at some levels and for some people and animals. When people suffer there are 100x more animals that suffer, because people look after themselves first.

Considering the crisis of the drought in Cape Town. We need to consider of the biggest environmental impact on the environment during the last two decades and ask the question: could we have managed it better of would it have been better if we never did it at all (The removal of large trees and alien vegetation in Cape town for instance)​?

The biggest impact on nature was the removal of trees and the clearing of bush land for formal an informal settlements, as well as the removal of alien vegetation, and replacing it with plants that are more vulnerable to weather changes or not replacing it at all.

Rietvlei and Table Mountain are good places to study the removal of large trees and compare the impact of drought on the surrounding land. There are comparisons of places where tree planting was done with expertise like at Century City, or at the Botanical gardens. Tokai forest may be another study project as well as Kirstenbosch.

We never had such an opportunity in Cape town to study and compare the effects of drought. What a wonderful opportunity for conservation students to learn from real life.

A similar crisis exist on the global financial market place, with an equal opportunity to revisit our economic empowerment actions, or inactions, and policies of the past.

Statistical or scientific data provides the best platform for a change in policies

GLOBAL EMPLOYMENT INITIATIVES ARE NEEDED

No one African nation or province can beat unemployment on its own.  

People will migrate to where jobs are until the demand is flooded.

We need a different system to beat unemployment - 

We need a system that empowers the whole continent.

WE NEED A GLOBAL STRATEGY TO IMPROVE THE LIVES OF PEOPLE.

MANAGE THE HUMAN DEMAND ON GLOBAL RESOURCES BEFORE WORLD PEACE

THERE IS AN OPINION THAT WE SHOULD CONTROL THE BIRTH-RATE OF HUMANITY BEFORE WE CREATE WORLD PEACE AND PROSPERITY FOR ALL PEOPLE.

The thought presents the argument that there is  a strong possibility that economic freedom and good medical care for all people will result in a  critical stress on global resources if we do not stabilize the human birthrate.

Humanity needs to increase, or decrease at the ability of the globe to sustain its population.

Today, in spite of famine, global disasters and war, humanity is still breeding out of control.

If all people can eat what they desire and receive medical care to prolong their lifespan like like the average rich person,  the strain on world resources will be more than the globe can handle.

If the human birth-rate continues at its current trend, people may in the distant future need to consider cannibalism to survive.    The only source of meat that grows abundantly in spite of war, famine and global disasters is human flesh.

Imagine everybody consuming food, every day, like the political parties during their ‘birthday bashes’, weddings and funerals;  there will be no more live stock on farms and in the jungles of Africa in a very period of time.

The solution may be to introduce  ‘Global Resource Management’  as a subject in all schools globally.

The African Problem  has its root in the DNA and the History of her people.  
Every race and nation have its own unique quality.

It is now time that the world of nations ceases to compete with each other but rather develop their own uniqueness to share for the GREATER GOOD.

HUMANITY IS THE CARETAKER OF THE GLOBE.

Teach informal settlers the ways and responsibilities of urban living.

Solutions to social problems, within our society,  may require a psychological analysis into the nature and/or the reason for the problem. 

A breakdown in communication may need to be addressed.

For instance; before flush toilets are installed or houses built, 

educate the users on how to maintain the toilets.

Make sure that the community has a maintenance team to handle repairs and cleaning.

Communities who are unwilling to learn how to maintain an infrastructure (like toilets) may have to be satisfied with alternatives - like long drops until they can organize themselves.

Alternatively, ask the community to come up with a solution. to their problem.

The same applies to receiving houses or schools and libraries.   Structures that are vandalized should not be re-built by the government.   Repairs should be the responsibility of the community, responsibility because they allowed it to happen.

Political parties should support each other in this respect for the sake of the people.

30% of programs on open television should be of a social educational nature.

People living in cities should learn bush-sense and people in informal settlements should learn

the responsibilities of city living.

Obama will host a Leader’s Summit on Refugees

 On September 20, President Obama will host a Leader’s Summit on Refugees on the margins of the 71st session of the UN General Assembly. Earlier this week, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power met with Permanent Representatives to the United Nations and others representing the co-hosts for the Summit – Canada, Ethiopia, Germany, Jordan, Mexico, Sweden and the UN Secretary General.  The Leaders’ Summit co-hosts pledged to work closely together to advance the objectives of the Summit, not only through direct action but also through concerted efforts to urge and support robust action by the other UN Member States.

With 20 million refugees around the world, a comprehensive, collective international effort to strengthen refugee protection and assistance is more critical than ever.  The co-hosts for the Summit all recognize that the international community must do more to protect and assist refugees.  Humanitarian appeals are at record levels, yet are underfunded. Massive numbers of refugees are turning to dangerous and illegal smuggling networks in search of safety; and millions more face long-term dependency in first asylum countries, without access to lawful employment and education.  In the lead up to the UNGA, the co-hosts, and other UN Member States that join this effort will make concrete commitments to address these challenges, and all new and significant commitments made during 2016 will be recognized at the Leaders’ Summit.

TRAIN TEACHERS HOW TO EMPOWER THE YOUNG TO BECOME THINKERS AND MANAGERS.

The education system must address solutions to everyday problems.

The best time to introduce empowerment skills is at primary school before children had time to copy-cat the behaviour of self-destructive elders.

Children should grow up with an attitude of finding solutions for problems instead of blaming the apartheid system, the government or other external sources for everyday problems within their communities.

The days of thieves, beggars and handout should be over. If a gate breaks on a prosperous farm, the workers know that it needs to be fixed. Domestic workers know how to clean. People who have the skill and intelligence to build shacks should be able to maintain toilets.

The missing link is management and self-motivation skills.

It is easier to blame, and beg that to take charge.   We see this trend even among our leaders.

It is the time that our education system teach our teachers how to educate parents and their children on management and self-motivation.

NB – FIRST TRAIN THE TEACHERS because many of them still think that strike action is the only way to solve problems and that violence and vandalism are part and parcel of such action to force other to solve problems they should be capable of doing themselves.  

Many teachers will moan when the roof of their classroom leaks or a window is broken, without getting on the phone to find someone who can fix it.

It is a pity too that many newspaper reporters are more interested in sensationalism than to give alternative viewpoints that can empower the community.

Municipalities should be ready to help communities who are willing to help themselves free of charge, for instance, mMunicipal workers can supervise and provide materials while the community takes care of  after its own repairs.

Our schools should be nation builders also.

Dear Mr President

Dear Mr President

It is most important to remember that a strong economy can resolve most social  problems within the society. We need to put the economy first.

Every name change of a street or town cost millions in wasted time and money. Create new names for new for forgotten heroes. Do not waste time breaking down old statues of unpopular heroes -  now villains that remind us of past injustices- .   We can simply add updated plaques to outdated statues.

It is time for South Africans to use a mental and not an emotional approach when implementing changes for business strategies, rules, or regulations. Too much time is wasted on red tape and meetings that go nowhere or strangle cash and production output.

It is time for the nation's presidents to choose ministers who will not allow emotionalism and revenge for past injustices to cloud decisions that influence the economy.

The main reason why some ministers push BBBBBE at the expense of the economy is to gain popularity and votes or because they are racist. Empowering the suppressed race or gender should be done by creating new avenues and not by stealing it from successful managers.

It is important to empower the poor or suppressed race. The fact that there are still more white managers than black managers in certain professions or areas is because the government spent so much time weaving red tape to try and steal power from one race and give it to another that they neglected to build grass-root powerhouses for black management.

The South African Government has been breaking the power of white managers for more than two decades.

It is time to leave business employment restrictions out of profitable establishments.

A white boss may find white workers more compatible and manageable, while a Black or Indian bosses will feel the same about workers that come from their own familiar backgrounds.

The remedy is to train black people on how to build companies.

Overseas economies benefit at the expense of South Africa every time red-tape force a white boss to emigrate.

About communication.

A company can never replace a telephonist, that is well versed with the companies workings, with an electronic answering system. The first voice one hears at the other end of the business telephone number should be one of the best experienced and educated business personnel.

A good telephonist should be able to speak with a dialect the enquirer feels comfortable with.    Many English people can not speak legible Bantu languages, while Xhosa speaking telephonists often speak illegible English or Afrikaans.   

 This problem can be solved if the  telephonist, after the greeting connects the enquirer to a tongue that will make him/her  feel at home - so to speak.    

Matching accents may be more profitable in the long run than we realize.

People underestimate the telephonic gateway to a business. The business greeting is often replaced by an electronic voice or comes from one of the least experienced personnel or an illegible voice.

I have often cut a conversation short because I could not argue with a voice recorder or understand an accent on the other side of the phone line.

Companies often spend millions on the advertising billboards and websites, just to loose it all in a phone inquiry.

Racism Kills prosperity

Some of the media and politicians may be trying to fuel racism in order to promote their own superiority of line their pockets.

A statement that whites occupies more managerial positions than other races may be a form of hate speech.
If there is a problem with the superiority of white management, education should be geared to even the score. Government departments simply choose the person with the highest qualification and experience to do the best job, and so it should be. Racism and red tape are responsible for so many delays in service delivery.
No country can not afford to replace its top management so that it conform to a skin color code.

It will be a more positive and financially viable move if we create new business opportunities in order to color the white squares on the business-world-chessboard into an even gray in black dominated countries. (Mixing old white businesses with new, (from the ground up) nonwhite businesses)

Financial growth in should never be crippled to implement an emotional racist ideal.
We should welcome all Local businesses.
We should allow the racial group who financed a new business venture and built it up from the ground the staff that he could best train to become future managers.
When one race dominates in any country, with equal opportunities and the right international relationships, the dominating race will eventually rule without the need for suppression of any other group.
Countries who underestimate the power of the international community will remain poor.

Countries who puts their trust in the promises of nations who have more hungry mouths to feed than they can support will become the bread baskets for foreign continents while its own people starve.
No foreign country invests in another if it does not see an opportunity to bleed its resources – even if they use charity as a blind to fool the leadership.
Always engage with the international business world with equal sharing opportunities in mind.

Do not take bribe or loans. Eventually, they will need to be paid back and that often happens when a country can ill afford it. It then will need to sell its soul to pay the debt.
Never forget that a healthy economy is needed for a healthy social structure.

We all need to become aware of news reporters and politicians who fuel racial debates in order to gain popularity.
