Educate the communities on how to appreciate joint recreational and educational facilities.
Too much money is wasted on trying to uplift communities without pre-education, supervision and maintenance. The community can be motivated to become proud, responsible citizens.

Everybody have cell phones. It is easy to teach people how to report irregularities. It is easy to send an SMS with the registration of a vehicle that violates the community rights. Teach people how to video a criminal activity or suspicious person and send it to the local police station. SMS messages to the police or emergency services should be free for registered cell phone users.
The police should have a big enough database to store these observations for a number of years.

If a soccer field looks like a wasteland, then the community will use it as such.

Where there is community pride and responsibility, there will be less crime.

Sporting activities are one way to engender pride among local citizens.
A community hall where educational and informative meetings and activities for the jobless can be conducted should be built in every community. Build vandal-proof structures if possible and employ all rounder watchmen who can also be cleaners and maintenance workers.

Our leaders are receiving too high salaries it should be sliced to provide community infrastructures. When the difference between top wage earners and bottom wage earners (and pensioners) are more than 15,000% (R1, 500,000+ and R1, 000-) there is something rotten in a society.

Ex unitate vires

We are all part of one Humanity just like each grain of sand makes out the beach. If each grain of sand acted as an individual entity, the beach would be like dust in the wind.

If every thinking person contemplates solutions instead of being driven to fear and inertia because of the enormity of the world’s problems, we can together, change the world.

It is said that you become what you think. If all thinking people strive towards peace and right human conditions we can save the world because over 50% of the world’s population are not thinkers, they are followers. They will adopt any strong thought wave that will make their lives better.
Together we can create a new reality.

Peace makers and sheep

There are those, within African societies, who are the leaders of peace and stability, then there are the sheep of society; a great majority of African citizens who have not yet developed their consciousness beyond that of their own personal needs.

We need to engender positivity and hope within our own minds; One mind at a time.

The ‘FIFA World Cup’ is a platform on which to stage our hopes and dreams for Africa.

It is only when the consciousness of the majority of thinkers swings to positive mode that the sheep will follow. The sheep of a society is like the horses that pulls the cart.

For an African society to change you need to change the unthinking masses.

When governments fail in their duty, regarding bringing peace and stability within their jurisdictions, it become crucial for the thinkers to put their doubts aside and project positivity for the sake of the unthinking masses.

Be positive during ‘The World Cup’. This may be our last chance to turn the tide of destruction at the Southern point of Africa into that of building the RAINBOW NATION.

Scientific carbon reduction

The percentage of carbon reduction from countries should be scientifically

calculated across the board and not be based on empty promises.

The calculation should use the following criteria:

* Population,
* population growth,
* deforestation,
* air polution,
* water polution and
* the total current carbon footprint of the country.

Africa just a late bloomer

When one considers the early American history in relation to slavery and the Indians, it seems that what is happening in Africa today, has been enacted in American history.

The leaders of first world countries should understand and guide African leaders in their policy making efforts, and not just accuse and punish them.

However any loose cannon should be deactivated.

It may be too much to expect an inexperienced African leader, or one who do not have the support of his own cabinet, to be in a position of global policy making.

The maturity of African leadership should be reflected in a fall in the unemployment rate and the steady increased economical growth.

Africa one big family

Many African leaders consider other African countries as being brother and sister countries.

One can understand that they are reluctant to bend under Western pressure to alienate fellow African countries who lost favour with the western world.

They will support their own flesh and blood against all odds.

.

That may also explain why the border control in some African countries are applied so half-heartedly.

At some level within their minds there are no borders. Just one African brotherhood and sisterhood

A new white African tribal custom to make managers out of boys

Racial empowerment laws in South Africa leave fewer opportunities in the job market for white male school leavers.

White male children especially will find it difficult to get good jobs. They have to wait for the selection to sift through potential employees among firstly

black women then,

black men,

then coloured women,

coloured men and lastly

white women before white boys can be considered for a job in a major South African company.

Companies are being presurised to apply these laws.

The same racial sifting will be repeated when promotions are to be considered

Educate White children to become managers from the start

White children need to be empowered to become managers and run their own companies before they leave school.

White South African parents may need to find solutions for the white male unemployment problem.

Giving your child a good education is no longer good enough for South African whites.

Perhaps we should look at black tribal customs, where the boys go into the bush to become men, for new solutions to the present white employment problem.

White boys could attend a finishing school year to become managers and self empowered as a new white tribal custom. (Perhaps in the overseas work market instead of the bush)

One cannot fight against the odds. While black people carry bleeding psychological wounds from past injustices, whites need to allow them the space to heal without sinking into poverty and despair.

Struggle makes one strong and “Boer maak 'n plan” There must be a peaceful solution. A win-win solution for all races. We cannot force racial equality in the job market but we must find a working solution.

Perhaps South Africans living overseas can help securing the futures of the boys from their fellow countrymen.

Help white South African boys to keep their heads above the water. (figuratively speaking)

African Economic Merging.

Perhaps it is time that Africa start feeding Africans and not China or America.

An economic policy that does not rely on export needs to be created.

Africa should not export food while there are Africans starving.

We have enough coal, gold, diamonds and other minerals to export.

The Southern African countries could amalgamate and share wealth for the benefit of Africans and resource sharing.

A suggested structure could be:

• One head of the 'The Southern Africa Nations' (The Southern African National President.)
• Old (retired) African Presidents (The Southern African National Council of the Elders)
• Presidents of the various Nations
• Prime ministers and other parliamentarians who deals with local affairs within the various countries.
• One currency, the Afro, (like the Euro)

Africa should prepare for the 2020 deadline when the "Make poverty history" project ends.

Africa should utilise this window of "First World Sympathy" to empower itself.

It is not a time for war and internal struggles.

It is a time to build a strong National African economy that relies on its own resources. We still have too many companies boosting the economy who is first and foremost feeding rich individuals. Money derived from exports should put bread on the tables of the poorest of the poor.

There is a possibility that 2020 will be the cut-off time for first world guilt and sympathy for Africa. The strong nations may return to their former tendency to exploit the African nations without consideration for the people. Africa needs to build a strong structure before then.

Africa needs to protect itself from harmful external interference, however Africa needs to remember that it is a baby as far as National Unity is concerned and should learn from 'first world' examples.

We have such a wonderful diverse kaleidoscope of people living in South Africa today.

It is such a pity that laws like BEE infringes or tries to control the natural ability of South Africans to make this country an economic giant on the world corporate rugby field.

One can say BEE is not playing the ball fairly.

Why tar all citizens with the same brush. We have such a diverse African economy.

Methods could be found to empower all previously disadvantaged people by offering them assistance to start up their own companies without hijacking well run financial giants.

Only a strong economy can empower all citizens of South Africa.

If the rugby team was subjected to the same criteria as the business world in South Africa, we may not have taken the world cup.

Lets turn the economy of South Africa round to becoming top players corporate global rugby field.

Babies being born into some Indian tribes in the Amazon are buried alive. This is a practice that is being covered up by the Brazilian authorities out of respect for tribal culture according to newspaper reports. The tradition is based on beliefs that babies with any sort of physical defect have no souls, and that others such as twins and triplets are also "cursed".
In Africa it has been reported in the past that the belief that raping babies or virgins will cure or prevent aids.



If Africans with a similar naive tribal belief cannot yet understand the technology of modern medicine; how can they be expected to understand the running of a modern government with all its complexities? With one-person one-vote these people can be bulldozed into voting for any unscrupulous politician. To harvest political votes in Africa must be one of the main methods of pre-election political farming. Fear of course is another. Let the best political farmer or bully wins. During the first open election the people expected to receive houses immediately, as was promised. Many of them are still waiting and some of them literally died waiting for houses nearly seventeen years later...

The solution may be to give voting rights to people with a predetermined educational standard or of mature age. This will put the decision making process of he country (or continent) back into the hands of the educated and the elders. This can only be done if there is free and available schooling for all children. It will also encourage people to reach the predetermined educational standard in order to have a say in the running of the Country
